Candied Popcorn

Yield: 6 quarts

Ingredients

check plain popped popcorn 6 quart plain popped popcorn

check light corn syrup 3/4 cup light corn syrup

check butter or margarine 1/4 cup butter or margarine

check water 2 tablespoons water

check (1 lb.) confectioners sugar 4 cups (1 lb.) confectioners sugar

check miniature marshmallows 1 cup miniature marshmallows

Directions:

Place popcorn in a large roasting pan. In a 3 quart saucepan, combine corn syrup, butter, water, sugar and marshmallow; cook and stir over low heat just until mixture comes to a boil. Pour over popcorn and toss to coat. Cool. Store in an airtight container.
